Gregor Tarjan

Gregor Tarjan is a USCG 100-Ton licensed captain, certified NY State yacht broker, and member of SNAME and YBAA. He is the founder and president of Aeroyacht Multihull Specialists LLC, an internationally recognized brokerage and yacht project management firm specializing in cruising catamarans and custom multihulls. A dual citizen of the U.S. and Austria, Gregor has sailed over 80,000 miles on monohulls and multihulls, including 3 transatlantic crossings. With degrees and professional backgrounds in yacht design, art history, and large yacht project management, he is widely regarded as "one of the leading experts in multihulls today" (per McGraw-Hill Publishers). Gregor is the author of *Catamarans: Every Sailor’s Guide* (McGraw-Hill, NY), now in its third printing, and *Catamarans: Tomorrow’s Superyachts* (Sheridan House, NY). He also co-authored *The Sailor’s Multihull Guide*. His writings have appeared in numerous international sailing publications, and his designs include the Alpha 42 catamaran and the Aeroyacht 110—nominated for the International Superyacht Design Award. When not at sea aboard his NEEL 47 trimaran "FLO", Gregor splits his time between his Long Island, NY, and Palma de Mallorca offices with his wife, Flo.
