Power Catamarans are recently considered to be the intelligent alternative to traditional-designed monohull power yachts. Consequently more and more consumers discover their advantages. LEEN Trimaran Hybrid Trawler Yachts

The LEEN 50, LEEN 56 power trimaran and the flagship LEEN 72 – are long range cruising multihulls, perfectly capable of transatlantic voyages and even living aboard in high latitudes.

Built in a highly efficient new hybrid composite system these innovative power trimarans have a range of 3,500 miles and may only be fueled up once a year. Consequently all models have a large diesel engine as main propulsion and electric drives in the outer hulls (amas). This allows for easy maneuvering in ports or silent autonomy on just the electric pod-drives. With just the electric drives the boat is capable of speeds of up to 5 knots. Typical cruise is between 9-14 knots and consumption is a super-low 2l/hour. Comparatively this is about 10 times less than a power trawler and twice as efficient as a catamaran trawler yacht!
